That’s strange… Nintendo of America’s YouTube channel is no longer verified

Our team has discovered that Nintendo of America has changed their region-specific YouTube channel’s name to “Nintendo of America” following a similar change to their Facebook page. Unfortunately, unlike Facebook, their ‘verified’ tick mark status has been revoked in accordance with YouTube’s policy.

We’re sure this is just temporary while they update their accounts to indicate the region they serve. For now, however, YouTube.com/Nintendo still brings you to the NoA YouTube account. In other words… there’s no reason to believe they will successfully be impersonated, since they still have the same URL as before.
