Tax Day is coming, and Tom Nook thinks he knows how you should spend it

WHAT?!

Nintendo of America decided to tweet something… very interesting the other day.

Yeah, this actually happened.

The tweet reads.

“Tom Nook is here to help you file your tax returns… and he already has an idea for what to do with your refund!”

While this tweet could very much be a joke, fans of Animal Crossing were quick to speculate that an Animal Crossing game could be coming on or before Tax Day. Tax Day is on a Monday this year.

We’d like to know what you think. Will Animal Crossing release in the near future, or could we be looking at a late 2019 release?
